and apparently that stands for 2010. I'm not a huge fan of Roman Numerals past 10. So I can't explain exactly how they work. The XI part I get though: that's definitely the 11 part. So.. ima guess that M = 1000. Since there are 2 M's... M + M = 1000 + 1000 = 2000. Add the XI part... 2000 + 11 = 2011!!
OH. and one should mention that G and E have no bearing in this. Those are the actual part of GooglE. MMXI is suppose to be the "OOGL" part.
